Apple calls its push-notification service APNs. On this page, you will add Apple’s push-notification credentials to OneSignal so it can send messages to iOS users.
First complete Prepare your Apple Developer account. That page creates the Apple identifiers and App Group that OneSignal needs.

Create an Apple push-notification key

In your Apple Developer account, go to Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles → Keys and create a new key. Enable Apple Push Notifications service (APNs). This is Apple’s name for the credential OneSignal uses to deliver notifications.

Download the .p8 key

Register the key and download the .p8 file. Apple lets you download it only once, so store it securely.

Open iOS push-notification settings in OneSignal

In OneSignal, go to Settings → Push & In-App → Apple iOS (APNs) Settings and choose .p8 Auth Key.

Add your Apple credentials

Upload the .p8 file, then enter its Key ID, your Apple Developer Team ID, and your app’s Bundle ID.

Save the configuration

Save and continue in OneSignal. Your iOS push-notification setup is ready once the app is connected to Rey and published.
The .p8 push-notification key is not the App Store Connect API key. Do not swap the Key ID and Team ID; both are 10-character values, but they identify different things.
